Central Information Commission (CIC) asked government to reveal Netaji death secrets. Thus CIC has opened the Netaji Mystery cae again. This Non-violent government becomes violent to cut the finger which is raised on Nehru’s dark side.  Re-opening of Netaji’s death mystery The mystery over the 1945 disappearance of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose may finally come clear with the Central Information Commission (CIC) directing the federal government to furnish details about it. The full bench of the CIC, headed by the Chief Information Commissioner Wajahat Habibullah directed the federal home ministry to furnish the information relating to the disappearance of Bose sought by an individual. “By doing so, the MHA (Ministry of Home Affairs) would not only be discharging its legal duties and rendering an essential service to a public cause, it may finally help resolve an unsolved mystery of independent India ,” the CIC observed in its order.Sayantan Dasgupta, a resident of New Delhi , had sought certified copies of all documents exhibited before the Netaji Inquiry Committee of 1956 headed by Shah Nawaz Khan and the Justice B.D. Khosla Commission under the Right to Information (RTI) Act of 2005.   Conflicting accounts While both the Khan Committee and the Khosla Commission agreed with the government’s claim that Netaji died in a plane crash in Taiwan before Japan fell to the Allies, the Justice Manoj Mukherjee Commission, appointed by the National Democratic Alliance government in 1999 was categorical in its report that the Taiwanese authorities had said that no such air crash took place.   Like Bush, Mamohan Govt does not want to handover documents President Bush will invoke executive privilege rather than yield to congressional demands for documents on the firing of at least eight U.S. attorneys, who allegedly were canned for political reasons. The applicant had also sought information whether India maintains any protocol with regard to Bose and whether he fits somewhere in that protocol. “The information on points in your letter is not available in the records,” Mr SK Malhotra, deputy secretary in the home ministry said in reply to Mr Bhattacharya’s petition. “It was shocking for me to have this response,” Mr Bhattacharya said. The most sensational disclosure was made by Ardhendu Sarkar, a mechanical engineer employed by the Ranchi-based public sector firm, Heavy Engineering Corporation. He told the Commission that in 1962, while on deputation at the Gorlovka Machine Building Plant near Donetsk in Ukraine , he had met a German called Zerovin.

Zerovin had been taken to the USSR in 1947-48 and had spent some time at a gulag in Siberia for “indoctrination”. There, one day in 1948 (Zerovin told Sarkar), he had met Netaji and had actually exchanged a few words with him in German.

After hearing of this, an excited Sarkar went to the Indian Embassy in Moscow and reported the matter to an Indian diplomat.
